TELUS
-
TELUS’ Trade-In Program replaces the previous Return & Recycle Program.
The TELUS Trade-In Program is a national initiative to help repurpose and reuse devices or recycle perceptually obsolete devices. In the case where a device cannot be repurposed and reused, the device is recycled, resulting in the diversion of hazardous materials (such as batteries) from landfills. Devices intended for recycling can be dropped off at participating locations in any quantity, at any time. In addition, the Trade-In Program provides new and existing customers with a great opportunity to derive value from their used device. The program allows customers to trade-in their used device from any carrier and trade it in for instant in-store credit (where applicable) to be applied to their next phone and/or accessory purchase. In the case where a used device has no residual value, TELUS remains committed in its efforts towards environmental stewardship by continuing their ongoing partnership with Tree Canada. TELUS will donate $3 towards the planting of a tree for every $0 value recycled device traded in.

Videotron
- Videotron's and Quebecor's “Allo la Terre” program accepts all mobile devices and accessories for recycling at any Videotron stores, Le SuperClub Vidéotron or Archambault locations across the province of Quebec.
